MADE Winchester – Craft and Design Festival
is a celebration of contemporary craft, design, and creativity, bringing together around 100 of the UK’s finest makers and designers within the inspiring surroundings of Winchester Cathedral.
MADE Winchester Craft and Design Festival welcomes everyone with a love of craft and design — from collectors and creative enthusiasts to families and curious visitors.
Exhibitors are carefully selected for their quality, originality, and craftsmanship, offering visitors the chance to experience and buy directly from some of the UK’s leading and emerging makers as well as the chance to learn new skills.
Discover beautiful, handmade work; ceramics, jewellery, textiles, glass, wood, and more — meet the makers, watch live demonstrations, and take part in creative workshops and talks.

WHERE
MADE Winchester Craft and Design Festival will take place within the Nave, Aisles, and North Transept of Winchester Cathedral, as well as on the Inner Close lawn. This stunning historic setting provides the perfect backdrop for a weekend celebrating handmade excellence, creativity, and community.

Thursday 7th May 10.00am to 5.00pm (last entry 4.30pm)
Thursday evening 5.30pm special Choral Evensong and drinks reception from 6.30pm to 8.30pm (invitation only)
Friday 8th May 10.00am to 5.00pm (last entry 4.30pm)
Saturday 9th May 10am to 5pm (last entry 4.30pm)
TICKETS
A general entry ticket to the Cathedral will also allow access to MADE Winchester Craft and Design Festival.
Please note: Entry tickets are valid for one year, allowing multiple entries to MADE Winchester across the event and to Winchester Cathedral for 12 months. HOW TO GET THERE
As with many historic cities, parking within the centre is limited and often congested. Winchester has excellent rail links to London, Southampton, Basingstoke, Reading, the Midlands and beyond. Where possible we strongly advise people to make use of these facilities. You can plan your visit below.

Travelling by car
If travelling by car is the only option, please make use of the Park and Ride car parks which are located around the outskirts of the city. Winchester City Council operates an excellent and frequent service to all locations, with drop off points located 2-3 minutes walk from the Cathedral. During late night openings, services for the Park and Ride are extended into the evenings. Find more information here.
